The issue or debate over the Ethnic or racial identity of Queen Cleopatra and the Ancient Egyptians’ has generated significant heated discussion and much controversy, with scholars, historians, and various groups offering different interpretations, throughout the years, especially within the Online & Social Media world, on platforms such as Youtube, which have become a hotbed of heated debate, with Racist Yotubers such as ‘Metatron’, vehemently attacking any suggestion of Ancient Egyptians being Black as pseudo history, opposed by popular Afro-centric Channels such as ‘Mr. Imhotep’, and Online personality Young Pharaoh, forming part of the spectrum of competing ideologies. Most notable of which, has been between representatives of the so-called Black Conscious Community, and that of the Far Right-Wing Community, who each equally have a vested, or indeed ‘Invested’ interest in claiming Ancient Egypt for their respective cultures, with the Most contentious issue being that of the Ethnicity of Queen Cleopatra.
